While our ultimate goal is to have our dogs off the lead and trust them 99% of the time, the reality is that there are situations where we need to have them on a lead, whether it's visiting the vet, going to a park, or simply walking along the road. However, the lead often brings frustration for both dogs and their owners. In this episode, we will explore why the behaviour of dogs changes when the lead is put on, the natural instincts that lead to pulling, and the frustrations that arise from having their choices limited. We will also discuss the importance of choosing the right lead for both our comfort and our dogs' comfort. J
